Happy Victoria Day!

Happy Victoria Day everyone...in Canada!

Also known as the May long weekend... which brings the city of Victoria a grand parade, full of highschool marching bands.

I stayed in bed today though, and got a lot of rest, and loved every minute of that. I do love a parade though, and have marched in the Victoria Day Parade, with the Victoria Accordion Club - 2 years ago.

Yes, my gypsy band could have fit it nicely with this parade today, but gypsies need rest too!

My gypsy band and I will be performing this upcoming Saturday, May 29th 2010 at 11:15am at the Family Fun stage, for the Selkirk Waterfront Festival! For more information about this all ages event go to: http://www.burnsidegorge.ca

What else!!??

Keeping busy with photo shoots, have a peek at my online modeling portfolio: http://www.flickr.com/photos/natashaenquist_modelportfolio

As well Alex Cooper and I have begun our song writing for our band. More news to come about this band soon!

The Great Giffoni and I had a great little show last Saturday morning, bright and early at 9:30am for the kiddies (but also the parents) at the Quadra Village Day event!

Summer is approaching, and it's time to think about how to entertain your kids, and maybe your Grandma and Grandpa, and your cousin, and your sisters new boyfriend... call The Great Giffoni!

All contact with The Great Giffoni is mediated through his associate, if you require any further details about rates and availability, or would like to schedule a performance, refer to:

Did you know The Great Giffoni is now on Facebook?
Astonishing!

Updates! Updates!

Updates! Updates!

I had some fabulous gigs over the past two weeks!

A brief rundown and report:

April 24th, 2010 - FolkWest Fundraiser @ The White Eagle Hall - it was a blast

May 1st, 2010 - Bike Parade & Prom on Pedicabs around Victoria BC and @ The Da Vinci Centre. Never a dull moment when an accordion is played in a Pedicab! I think this video says it best:

May 2nd, 2010 - Art School Victoria & Ballet Victoria's "Moving Art" Fundraiser @ The Truth Centre - was successful, and it was great to support these creative companies. Please show your support too! Enroll!

This past weekend was definitely a busy one for me, but I have a good feeling this is only the beginning of the craziness!

Friday night I played a brief set at the opening of
, "MAY OUI!: the 30th anniversary of the Victoria Annual Erotic Art Show" on until May 23, 2010... Darren Stone is exhibiting a photograph in it! Go check out the show, you'll get a delicious eyeful!

Saturday morning I got up and did the earliest birthday party magic show to date, and it went great! The Great Giffoni had the kiddies mesmerized, Princess Muffin got to roam about the backyard, and there were lots of laughs - my favourite part.

Saturday afternoon was the sound check for the Bike Prom. Saturday early evening was the Bike Parade, riding around in Pedicabs,
along with hundreds of cycles throughout downtown Victoria BC. Late Saturday night was the Bike Prom, and that was a fantastic sweaty dance party!

Sunday early afternoon was the Art School Victoria/Ballet Victoria fundraiser of course, and now I must rest :)

My friend Alex Cooper and I are in the beginning stages of our band, I am looking forward to the summer and seeing what comes of this collaboration. It previously brought you this:
